Pictures say a thousand words that is why we collect them every time we have the chance. Family albums are stocked with family pictures during birthdays, anniversaries, prom nights and graduation parties. Weddings are not complete without capturing the event through wedding photos. From the day a child is born until the day he or she dies, all of which are captured in film or digitally.

Sometimes, albums are not enough to keep all the photos you have taken in the past years. Keeping an album also can be costly especially if you have thousands of photos at hand. There is now a better way to store your photos and that is through the latest gadgets such as digital cameras, online albums and even through digital photo keychain.

Advancement in technology in the last 5 to 10 years made a lot of things unnecessary. Now, snail mail is seldom used for emails are much faster, less costly and more convenient. Trains and ships are replaced by airplanes to get from one country to the next. The same is true for showing off photographs. It is now considered “old school” to show off the photo of your child that you are keeping in your wallet. The new way of doing that is by using digital photo keychains.

The photos inside the digital photo keychains are not subject to fading unlike the printed versions that you put inside your photo albums. It is much more convenient to have with you for it is not bulky and is lightweight as well.

Some keychains have an automatic shut off ability so that it saves on battery. The device will automatically turn off if it detects two to three minutes of inactivity. A lot of digital photo keychains can store to as much as 60 photos. You cannot have that much photo in your wallet but you can bring it around with you conveniently with the digital photo keychain.

A lot of research is now being done for advanced keychains such as this. In the near future, expect larger capacity for photo storage, state-of-the-art designs, longer battery life span and higher resolution of photos.
